Coming Events In The Perview of the Hebrew Calendar

Upcoming dates

Tisha B'Av (The 9th of Av)   Bad things historically happen to Israel~ this year it will fall on~ July 25, 2015

Elul 29 on the Jewish Calendar ~ In the past few decades Elul 29 has spelled a financial collapse or re-set involving the economy via the stock market.  This year it falls on Sunday, September 13, 2015.  If it continues, the stock market will either experience a collapse on Friday, September 11th or Monday, September 14th.  (For America, 9/11) bears more significance, and Monday, September 14th is The Feast of Trumpets (Rosh Hashana or Rosh Chodesh).  And the final Blood Moon of this Tetrad occurs on September 28th.
This will give conspiracy theorists some dates to play with and the rest of us something to watch for - remember, we are instructed to "watch and pray."

The Abomination

Welcome to those of you who have been following.  I received a telephone call from my brother who had mistakenly thought I'd predicted that Christ was going to return on the first blood moon.  Now I have never predicted such a thing.  One can easily check out what I've said by reviewing my comments on earlier posts in The Fundi Driveby.

I do believe that the rapture (sometimes confused with Christ's second advent)) could take place at any time whereas the 'second advent' will be when Christ returns to Mt. Olivet, Jerusalem to establish a thousand years of peace. That being said, those with a mid-tribulation theory of the rapture have had some influence on my pre-trib "theology."  The reason I say that is the scripture says (2Th 2:3)  "Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition."  That incident is referred to by Jesus Christ as "the abomination of desolation" in the Bible:

[[Matthew 24:15  When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

Mark 13:14  But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains:

Dan 9:27  And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. ]]

We know that in Israel, most of the preparations for the Third Temple have been underway for some time, putting the Bible ahead of the news.
