This is a blog that views the importance of both the historic Christian faith as well as it's relevance in the 'rubber meets the road' world of today.

I'm glad some xian went to the conference.
As for your questions about liberal judges and liberal politicians, I think it depends on your view. I think we have ultra-conservative judges. Also, please read the preamble to the Dec of Ind. Nature's god and laws of nature, deists like TJ believed god=nature and not the biblical god concept.
You never really explained what the Blasphemy game is? Care to elaborate. I really appreciate your representation of Christians in a good way, and rather than attacking their beliefs, or non beliefs, you just pointed out some things that they should change if they want to truly change people's perceptions of them. I find that you can never really sit down and change someone's beliefs, but you can plant a seed. Questions are never a bad thing, a questioning faith in something is what strengthens it (as long as you look for the answer.) Thanks again!
txatheist would like to throw out the old idea of founding fathers as deists not believers in God, and says, "...please read the preamble to the Dec of Ind. Nature's god and laws of nature, deists like TJ believed god=nature and not the biblical god concept." the preamble says, "...to which the laws of nature and of nature's God entitle them..." Meaning the GOD of nature as i.e., God of creation, such as TJ uses in the very next sentence "...that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator..." Note TJ doesn't say, "...endowed by the Nature god...", or "...god of nature..."
If you look at the signature block of the US Constitution, you will read these words, "In the year of our LORD..." There can be no doubt that the signers recognized that as none other than Jesus Christ, be they Christians or as some would say - Deists.

Perhaps you should film a documentary ala Alexandra Pelosi's "Friends of God."

anonymous,
I fail to see where I say Deists don't believe in god.
Are the founding fathers in any way relevant?
