Christ's Resurrection and You

Jesus Christ is the only leader of any religion, not to mention the only man in all of history that has defeated death.
The only sign of His remains is this empty tomb in Jerusalem. Because He died and rose again, He has given the ability to (whosever will) obtain everlasting life. This life is in Him and available to all.
The Bible says it this way:
(1 John 5:11, 12) "And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life." Clear and straightforward, isn't it?

No amount of skepticism (and I'm skeptical by nature) keeps me from knowing Christ and that never ending life He's given me. John said that his very reason for writing is so that you could know. "I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life."

I know. Do you?

Do you have the Son of God? Why not ask Him to come into your life as Savior and Lord right now?

Jesus; do you know Him today? Please, don't turn Him away.

Mithra and Hercules. There are more than a dozen risen savior gods.

Did any of them leave an empty tomb behind?
There is an empty tomb in Jerusalem (see the picture?)
Over 500 people witnessed Jesus alive after he rose from the dead--Inspite of the best efforts of the Romans and Jewish authorities to secure his tomb, the grave couldn't hold Him.
He's very alive. Not only that, but He told his disciples to wait in Jerusalem for the Holy Ghost whom He would send. They waited, the Holy Ghost came and they received--(and so have I). There's no doubt about it--Jesus is alive. Now as bad as the Jews wanted to stop this new religion, all they had to do is come up with the body of Jesus. That would have cured their problem quite nicely and Christianity would never have been.

Actual history and mythology are not the same. An empty tomb or a robbed grave? Thousands of people say they saw UFO's. It's call delusion/imagination. There's no doubt you believe Jesus existed. Christianity would have never been if Constantine didn't declare xianity the official religion in the early 4th century. If he hadn't mithraism would be predominant as that was the official religion.

We know about actual history. To say as you did,
"Christianity would never have been..." is pure speculation on your part and not very good speculation at that because it ignores history. Are you aware that within one generation from Christ's death the new faith had already spread throughout most of the known world? Inspite of the attempts of other religious systems and Imperial Rome itself to stomp it out, the Christian faith was sweeping the world. The greater the persecution of Christians the more Christianity spread.

No, Mithraism is how predominant now? It was the official religion until xianity came about and Constantine declared it that in the 4th century. Your presumption that xianity spread well is a completely void of historical accuracy. The greater people are willing to think heaven is true the greater religion spreads, that's just islam of today. Persecution of other religions and forced islam on people, just like early 4th century xianity.
